Parquet Floors
Parquet flooring is the term generally used to describe floors which have been installed in a pattern as opposed to straight lines. Parquet flooring is comprised of individual wood blocks that form a pattern and can be made from either solid or engineered wooden floors. In parquet flooring, there is a variety of different patterns that can be used to create different looks and atmospheres, including herringbone, chevron, Versailles, basket, and mosaic. With a variety of finishes and shades, there is sure to be a style to suit everyone's needs.
Engineered Floors
Engineered wood floors consist of three layers. The top layer is hardwood, the middle layer is plywood or softwood, and the bottom layer is usually pine. While engineered floors look and feel exactly like solid wood, the additional layers make them much more stable. This added strength means that engineered floors are a very popular choice for modern homes as they are harder wearing and require less maintenance. Engineered floors are a great alternative option for rooms where traditional wood may be impractical.

Solid Wood Floors
A solid hardwood floor is manufactured from one single piece of wood. Solid wood floors can be made from a variety of trees such as octavo, French oak, American oak, teak, walnut. Solid wood floors are extremely strong and durable because of the large amounts of wood that sits above the tongue and can be installed without seeing any gaps between the planks. Solid hardwood floors look great in any room and create a luxurious feel. If you want a premium, high-end look, then solid floors are the way to go.
Laminate Floors
Laminate floors are designed to look like and emulate traditional hardwood floors but are much more versatile. Laminate flooring is made up of a hard wearing decorative top layer constructed from synthetic materials on a HDF core. Laminate floors are hard-wearing, long-lasting, and come in a variety of styles. An elegant, practical, and economical option for many, laminate floors are typically recommended for customers with busy households on a budget as they are easy to maintain and clean.
